Inigo Garces was born in Madrid, at December 31th, 1987 to Sandros and Paula
Garces. From the first time he could talk, he could walking, he could singing,
he could dancing. He is the first child who born to Garces family.
He lived in USA until his age is 8.
At age 6, in the year of 1993, he said to his father he want to be an actor.
When Sandros Garces asking why he want to be an actor, Inigo's said the reason
is because he want to make his parents proud.
After Inigo said like that, his parents took him to followed into guest appearances audition of a USA famous supernatural thriller TV Series ever made, The X-Files. Dreams come true. He received to play in 1 episode, as George in episode "Ice" (1993). For Spanish young actor, Inigo is unique. He not starts his acting career in Spain, but in another country cause he lived in USA at that time.
After appeared in X-Files, he also appeared in another USA TV Series as a guest appearances, like "Joey", "Jesse", and "Touched by an angel". Unfortunately because he just take a little role part, he is totally unknown in USA, though he has appeared in some famous USA TV Series.
At age 9, he back again to Spain because his mother missing his grandfather. Inigo's family move to Spain at February 1996, and Inigo live in Spain with his parents and his grandfather. At the same year, Inigo's sister, Leiticia Garces, was born.
When an announcement of an audition into Secretos Del Corazon movie hear by Inigo's family, his grandfather suggest him to followed this audition. Accompanied by his father, Inigo follow Secretos Del Corazon audition. Although he did not won the leading role, he received to play as Carlos, as supporting role. Then he begin filming with Andoni Erburu and Alvaro Nagore at March 1996.
Although Secretos Del Corazon became one of the most success Spanish film, and be the best movie in Europe at 1997, but Inigo's name not yet really hear. Because Andoni Erburu, who play as leading role, became one of the most popular young actor in Spain after finish his role in this movie.
But he didn't give up. When his mother read an announcement of La Primera Noche de mi vida audition, and said the kid who lucky to received play in this movie, can play with Leonor Watling. Leonor Watling was Inigo's favourite actress, and after heard that news, he ask his father to accompanied him into the audition.
Dreams come true. He received to play as Joselito. He do all the best to this movie. And, that's make it. Because he brough the audience into laugh, he won Malaga Spanish Film Festival for his performance and Goya Award as best Newcomer. After won this two awards, Garces quickly became one of the busiest young actor in Spain.
In 1999, without audition process, Garces appeared again in a thriller movie, "Los Lobos de Washington." Which he also filmed with top Spanish actor, Javier Bardem. Unfortunately this movie not that success like La Primera Noche de mi vida. But, Garces still lucky because he nominated for Ninos Award for best young actor in a supporting role.
His another big role is as Jaime in one of the most famous Spanish supernatural thriller, El Espinazo Del Diablo (2001). Which he also worked with the master filmmaker Guilermo Del Toro, and other Spanish young stars like Fernando Tielve, Junio Valverde, and Javier Gonzalez. His incredible acting make he won Fennec Award for best foreign young actor and he also nominated into AFTI Media Boy Poll 2001.
After El Espinazo Del Diablo, he never make another superior film again. From 2002 until 2004, he just appeared in a short film. After appeared in Stronger, a Canada short film, he disappeared from screen since then to continuing his study and maybe will be back into Spanish movie business after finishing it. At holidays, he likes to watching soccer match. His favourite soccer team is Real Madrid and his favourite soccer player is Raul Gonzales. He also became the best friend of Andoni Erburu after play together in Secretos Del Corazon. At his 10th birthday, he received an unique gift: a tuxedo custom. And he also give Andoni a car remote control when Andoni celebrate the 11th birthday.
Although he is now has disappeared from screen, his charisma and talent will always be deserve to remembered, as he's one of the greatest Spanish child actor of all time. Now he is still live in Madrid, Spain.
